Tags added on Mac don't show up properly on Android

Hi, I'm having an issue with Zoho Notebook. I just started using it yesterday, and I noticed that only some of the tags I assigned on Mac are syncing to notes on my Android phone. To be clear, the tags themselves are syncing, but they're not consistently showing up on the notes on Android, even though I can see them on Mac. I tried deleting and re-adding on Mac and this didn't work.

This kills the service for me and makes it totally unusable, which is very frustrating after spending a day setting it up. Please see screenshots for more detail.

EDIT: I tried adding 2 totally new tags to a note on Mac, and while both tags showed up on the list of tags on Android, one of them was not assigned to the note on Android, but was unchanged on Mac.

EDIT 2: I tried making a copy of a note on Mac. It copied all the tags... on Mac. On Android, there are no tags at all on the copied note, even though I can see the tags are syncing in the list of tags....

EDIT 3: I made a totally new note and made new tags and reused some old ones. Only a couple of tags actually showed up on the note in Android. The rest were missing. The tags did sync to the list of tags on Android.

EDIT 4: I narrowed it down somewhat- Tags added to a note on my Mac will show up on my Mac and my iPad, but not all of them will show up on my Android. Tags created on my Android and iPad show up everywhere. Tags added on mac don't show up properly on Android. See screen shots below.
