We are using Zoho Inventory extensively for export sales and international trade operations.

Currently, in the Sales Order module subtotal section, only predefined fields such as Discount, Shipping Charges, TDS/TCS, and Adjustment are available. There is no option to add custom amount fields directly within this calculation area.

For export businesses, we often need additional commercial charges such as:

• Freight Cost

• Insurance Cost

• Bank Charges

• Export/Handling Charges

• CIF Value Components

• Other logistics and documentation charges

At present, custom fields can only be placed separately from the subtotal section, which creates workflow limitations and makes the document structure less professional for export calculations and customer communication.

We request Zoho to consider one of the following enhancements:

1. Allow users to add custom fields inside the subtotal/charges section

2. Provide a configurable “Additional Charges” block with calculation support

3. Allow these fields to participate in total calculations automatically

This feature would greatly help export-oriented companies and businesses involved in international trade.
