New in Zoho CRM: Make calls using Google Voice
Hello,
We made some enhancements to the Mobile and Phone number fields available in Zoho CRM. You can now make calls to the leads, contacts etc. using Google Voice.
Earlier:
- You could not make calls to the leads, contacts etc. using Google Voice.
- The Mobile and Phone numbers were a link in the Record Details page. You could click the link to dial the contact using Skype.
- If you had Zoho PhoneBridge enabled in your organization's account, you could click the number (link) to make calls using Skype and click the phone icon to make calls using Zoho PhoneBridge add-on.
Now:
Users who have enabled Google Voice Extension (applicable only in US)
- The mobile and phone numbers will be linked Google Voice. You can click the number to make calls using Google Voice. Please note that the number will be linked to Google Voice only if it is in the US format.
- The phone icon next to the number will be linked to Skype. You can click the phone icon to make calls using Skype.

Users who do not have Zoho PhoneBridge enabled in their organization's account
- The mobile and phone numbers will not be a link.
- The phone icon next to the number will be linked to Skype. You can click the phone icon to make calls using Skype.

Users who have Zoho PhoneBridge enabled in their organization's account
- The mobile and phone numbers will be linked to Skype. You can click the number to make calls using Skype.
- The phone icon next to the number will be linked to Zoho PhoneBridge. You can click the phone icon to make calls using Zoho PhoneBridge.
