Just like the title says - I want two notes open the same time on my Mac Air. AI search seems to think I have the option to open one window, then click on a second one. But of course if one window is open I can't see the others.

It also recommended using Window/Float option, which would float the open note so I could see the others. But that option doesn't exist. 

I've done more poking around - never trust AI! - but I'm coming up empty. How do I do this?
