When you move money from your operating account to the credit card account to pay the balance does you select "Pay Credit Card" or "Transfer". Doers it matter?

Also I seem to be doing transfers and sometimes I get a list of possible matches and I select the right one and go on my merry way. Other times I don't see a match. Do you need to toggle to both accounts to be sure it categorizes both the operating account and the charge card account so you don't have a card payment twice?

I'm not an accounting person so excuse my basic question.
