Problem pasting in ios app

Hi! I have recently discovered Notebook and I love it! But I cannot seem to copy and paste from another app to Notebook in iOS 10 (10.2.1). When I double tap in the new note field, I briefly see the little "paste" button appear but then it disappears before I can select it. Has anyone seen this behavior?
