Problems with windows 7 to windows 10 remote assistance

I have windows 10 and he has windows 7.

Although we are using the same screen resolution,
when I control his screen everything is fine but when its the other way around,
he sees my screen only on half of his screen, and his cursor is not clicking on the right things

for example there is the new tab button, he is trying to click it on his side but in fact it is much farther right on my screen than what he sees it.... very weird problem.

changing the settings "best fit or actual size" doesn't make any difference...

please help
