I've spoken to Zoho several times about this but they've been pretty useless and taking ages to respond to the ticket.

I have a form set up in Zoho Forms and when this is submitted, it auto-creates a task in a project in Zoho Projects via the Projects Integration.

Every one of these tasks however is 'created by' me. Because I built the form under my username (presumably).

The tasks should all go to other users. Which is fine because I have mapped the 'Task Owners' field to those users in Zoho Projects.

However, if the status of the task (or anything else in the task) gets updated, there is no way of notifying the person who submitted the form in the first place as the tasks were created by me and not them.

Now aside from the fact that it is ridiculous that Zoho have not given this any thought and there is no way to change the person who created these tasks, there surely must be some way to pass the name of the submitter of the form into Zoho Projects so that they can be kept up to date on the task they have submitted via the form...?

Currently, the form has a name field and I've just added the value of this field in the task description so that when the task is created, the description contains 'Requested by:'.

Can anyone share a way they may have handled this or any possible workarounds I could try?

I am wondering about possibly adding an email address field to the form, create a custom field in the task to store this and then automate a workflow in Zoho Projects to send any task updates to this email address or something along the lines of this. 

But it still feels stupid that there is no native consideration for this.
