We moved in some UI changes recently to both Zoho Invoice and Zoho Books. Since we did this, we've been receiving questions. Hence, we are listing some of the changes, that we'd like you to know about:

The quick search option: The quick search option on the right hand side of the page, is not available now. As an alternative, you may use the search option right at the top of you list; only till we have the quick search option back.

Sort by: The earlier UI had a separate 'sort by' drop down, from which you can select the criteria based on which you wish to sort your listing. Like in the case of the 'All Invoices' list, this drop down had options like invoice number, due date, etc. We made it simple by removing the drop down and you can now simply click the header on the list to sort the list. For instance: On the list of invoices, clicking the 'Date' header will sort your list based on the invoice date. The tiny ^ adjacent to the header shows if you have sorted it in the ascending or descending order. 

P.O number/ Reference Number: In the earlier UI, this field was displayed in the invoices listing while in the new UI it is not. Some of you wrote to us and told us that this is very important. We hear you! So this will be made available when we have our next UI update.

Show drop-down: The 'show' drop-down is a new addition. This lets you select the specific list of invoices that you'd like to view. The listing criteria being, the status of the invoice. 

More Actions: In the old UI,  all the links were displayed under each line on your listing; like in the case of invoice listings options like edit, details, etc. were displayed. We made this a little suave by bringing in a tiny icon which pops up with these links under it, only when you mouse over that particular line. 

We assure you that some of these missing options will return in our forthcoming updates. Screen captures attached with this post, have samples of all the enhancements we've talked about. As we mentioned earlier, we are revamping our UI only to make your Zoho experience awesome and we aren't done yet. So please let us know your comments and suggestions below. Your opinion really matters to us, the most.
