Return signed PDF inside Zoho CRM - Custom module

Hi,

Zoho tried to help me multiple times (thanks to them for that!) but the conclusion is that it's impossible to do what I want... is it really!?

We have NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) to sign, and once signed, I want the PDF to return as an attachment inside the record.

So it's zCRM --> zSign --> zCRM.

I'm using a function, and it's working.

The problem happens when another record has the same email address (primary email).

Zoho puts the PDF in the first record with the matching email, even if it's not the right one.

I have a custom module with:

- Person to sign the NDA #1 (primary email)

- Person to sign the NDA #2 (secondary email)

- Employee of our enterprise to complete the NDA (employee email)

Zoho told me that the email must be unique. ZSign can't use another field (e.g., ID) to check for the record match.

So, since we can have two records with the same primary email, it can't be done.

Has anyone found a workaround?

Maybe using WorkDrive and pushing only a URL into the record?
