Sending data from Zoho Projects to Zoho CRM
Dear communityHope you all are doing great!I'm opening this thread to understand how can I setup the following workflow between my Zoho Projects portal and my Zoho CRM portal:In my project, let's call it PROJECT X, I have new incoming bugs registers everyday. When my agents create these registers, they insert an numeric key called id_ideris in each one of them, this is a required field.
Also, this numeric key is used to identify my end-users on my CRM portal, at the accounts' module. In that case, each end-user has one unique id_ideris.
I want to create a workflow that whenever a new bug register is created or closed in my Zoho Projects, a deluge script counts all the bugs with the same id_ideris (equal to the id_ideris present on the bug that triggered this workflow) and that currently are in a open stage and sends this information to my Zoho CRM portal.
When sending to the Zoho CRM portal, I want this value to be populated in a customized numeric field present on my accounts layout. The register that must receive this information is the one that have the same id_ideris key as the bug register who initially triggered my workflow.
To sum it up: I need a script that counts how many bugs are opened for each one of my end-users, these ones, identified using their id_ideris.
I know how to do the field update and the count of registers based on criterias in a deluge script that runs exclusively on the CRM. When it comes to a script that crosses paths between Zoho applications, I do not know how to proceed.
Can someone, please, tell me how can I get this workflow done? I tried to be as clear as possible in my thread. If I wasn't enough, please, let me know.
Hope to hear from you soon guys :)
Cheers from Brazil!
Rodrigo.
