It would be very useful to have Available Stock as a standard column in the Items list view.

Currently Stock On Hand does not show the real picture for businesses managing orders and inventory.

Example:

Stock on Hand: 100
Committed to Sales Orders: 80
Available to Sell: 20

Most sales, purchasing and warehouse teams need to know the 20 available, not just the 100 in stock.

Ideally this field could also be:

• added to custom views
• sorted
• filtered
• shown by warehouse/location

Example:
Auckland Warehouse: 10 available
Sydney Warehouse: 0 available
Wholesale Warehouse: 50 available

This would make it much easier to answer:

• What products can I actually sell today?
• What needs reordering?
• What stock is available in each warehouse?

For multi-location businesses, Available Stock is often the most important inventory number.
