Spreadsheet/Writer, Offline Update/Backup
Hi,
I really like Zoho Project for our company and am very excited to get a chance to try business (I applied under using the name mojimoji for the site)
I have a few suggestions. I have uploaded some files in XLS format and Doc format and Zoho did a great job of conveting them as i would prefer to do all my updates in one place, in this case online.
For Spreadsheet, it couldn't merge cells vertically.
For Writer the conversion seemed to loose the formating I added in places yet when resaved to a ODS and DOC file the formatting was still in the file it seemed. this is great but does make it hard to create documents and maintain them exclusively online.
Finally: it would be great to have a full backup system to take everything offline in one go. alternatively an offline application version or offline files that are sinc'd (I think you are doing this with Writer atm?) but if I loose all my milestones it would be a problem, especially if I had not manually saved it offline, so an automated service would be excellant.
I am looking forward to seeing how things develop and once I have succeded in integrating your applications into our project I will look forward to upgrading my account.
