Start building popup forms with Zoho Campaigns

Hello everyone,

There's a plethora of good things happening in Zoho Campaigns right now and here's one for marketers to connect with people who visit your webpages.

Most of you would have read our recent updates in Zoho Campaigns. Here I am throwing light on popup forms that help you turn your website visitors into contacts. Using popup forms, you can show relevant messages to your website visitors and drive them to sign up for your newsletters, blogs, and more. Moreover, Zoho Campaigns can be used to send email newsletters to these visitors.

Here are a few tips to tick off and use popup forms before checking what's in store for y'all in Zoho Campaigns:

1. Relevant and valuable information

Give proper and valuable information to people who visit your webpages. Once you decide the context for your popup form, you can choose the type of popup that should jump out of the screen while your visitors take a look at your pages.

In Zoho Campaigns: We've two types of popup forms, namely Standard and Blanket popup forms. The former is the normal popup form that is well known as the window popup form and the latter type of form covers the entire portion of your visitor's screen.

2. Visitors engagement

Think about the way people would engage with your pages and decide the further set up of your popup forms. Make sure that you give people some time to read and grasp the content before throwing up a popup form.

In Zoho Campaigns: Choose when and how your popup forms should appear on your webpages:

A. Entry - While they enter the page.

B. Exit - When they are about to close or leave the page.

C. Scroll - If you want to introduce the popup forms when they scroll through your page.

D. Specific time - Choose any specific time from the options given. For instance, 10 seconds can be set up so that the popup appears after your visitors stay on the page for 10 seconds.

Moreover, you can also choose the position of your popup forms as to where it has to appear on the page and decide on the animation aspects too, if required.

3. Simple and clear language

Do not write long sentences with CAPS and promise them for non-existing possessions. Keep your popup form content simple, clear and compelling such that your visitors will take immediate action, adding more contacts to your mailing list.

In Zoho Campaigns: Choose a template from our array of templates and edit them the way you want them to be. Add images, text, button and edit fields to customize the popup form for your visitors.

4. Mobile Experience

All templates in Zoho Campaigns are mobile-optimized and you also have a preview option which helps you view the templates. Have you not seen the popup forms in different styles? It is good to have a variety of designs for your popup forms but always preview and see if it looks on other devices too. Go for responsive templates that create better user experience for mobile users also.

5. Convenient exit

Respect your visitors' decision even if it's going to affect your business. You will have to make sure that they are easily given an option to exit the popup form if they do not feel like subscribing to any of your email updates.

In Zoho Campaigns: Why should only text, CTA buttons and fields have all the privilege to be styled? We are giving varieties of exit buttons in Zoho Campaigns that helps you decide and choose the style of your popup forms. End it in style!

6. Popup forms for conversions

The ultimate goal of your popup forms is to turn every single visitor of your webpages to your contacts. This can be made possible by analyzing your reports and taking a note of page impressions, the clicks, the submissions and also the views.

In Zoho Campaigns: You can get the reports of visitors on your pages where popup forms are set up, the people who've viewed your popup forms, the interactions that happened, form submissions and confirmations also. Take a note of all these to improve engagements via popup forms.

P.S. All these can be done in one go! You just have to login to your Zoho Campaigns account and click signup forms to create a popup form. Additionally, you can push contacts who join via popup forms to your Zoho CRM account and also to any of your workflows for better engagement.

      • Email Deliverability Tip #3: Seal the deal with the preheader

In the last post, we learned about the subject line. Today we'll be learning about the preheader. A preheader is the short text that follows the subject line in an email. The preheader is designed to hint at what your email message is all about. A good preheader should act as a second subject line and convince your contacts to open the email. • Tip of the week 15 - Add subscription-preferences option. Drive more engagement.

If crafting content for emails, getting creatives done, and running email campaigns is your love, then unsubscribes are the heartbreakers.  You can save your emails from being unsubscribed/trashed by adding a proper subscription-preferences option in your emails (works best at the time of signup). Giving subscribers the option to choose what they want to receive from you and decide how often (frequency of the emails) your emails should hit their inboxes will increase the reach of your campaigns manifolds.
