Sticky note can't be moved -- sticks in the middle of the page

On both Chromium and Firefox in Linux, the sticky note is positioned right in the middle of the screen and can not be dragged away. That is, if you click and hold on the little handle at the top of the sticky note, it will not let you drag it to the side. You also can not drag the corners of the note to resize it.

Moreover, frequently the "done" button won't dismiss the note, so you have to reload the page in order to be able to get rid of the sticky note.

It would be really nice if the note worked like your video shows, or if it at least docked over to the side instead of the middle.
