Sum of deals won in an account within a Financial Year

Hi,

I've seen various code snippets for people doing this for the invoice module (which we don't use) but I want to create fields in an account for Current FY Spend and a separate one for Previous FY Spend, or any specific dates that can be preset or dynamic - within 12 months from initial deal closing for example.

I know there is a rollup summary field available but it doesn't seem to let me specify a date range in this field, unless I'm missing something!

Would someone be able to create this code snippet for me? I would call the Fields on the account Current FY Spend and Previous FY Spend (as above) if that's needed.
