Task Reminders

Hello,

Some requests/thoughts on the task reminder system...

1. The options for the Reminder feature on a task are very limited in use. We basically need to use another software for reminders since the options are only Daily, Day Before and On Due. We have around 40 active projects with dozens of tasks for each team member. Getting a daily reminder for tasks that might not be due for 2 months makes it unusable. If someone gets an email with 90% of the information being not relevant, they'll stop reading it. In the other direction, getting a reminder the day before a task is due might not work at all. What do you do if you have a task that will take 4 days to complete but doesn't start for 2 months? Simply adding a few more options like 1 week and 2 weeks out would fix this.

No mention of what project it's for. Yes. I can click on it to see the info, but what about when I'm on my phone, or just want to quickly see the project name. That should also be in the subject line. Being a programmer, I can't imagine these being major changes, but would greatly enhance the product.

Task Inline Editing Enhancement
Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
