Turn off feed notifications for file uploads?

Every time I upload a file in Connect, it posts a notification to the company wall. Is there a way to turn this off? The files are never interesting, but everyone feels compelled to look at them and then ask me why I wanted them to look at a video of how to export a pdf correctly or a list of test user logins.
