UI Update: We've Reorganized Invoice Settings

Dear users,

We’ve reorganized invoice settings to offer you a streamlined and intuitive experience when managing your subscriptions. Starting from 2 July 2025, subscription-related invoice settings will be accessible from a new page called Billing Preferences under Subscriptions in Settings.

What’s Changing

Before

All invoice-related settings, including those meant specifically for subscriptions like Metered Billing, Consolidated Billing and the like, were shown under the Invoice Preferences page in Settings > Sales > Invoices.


After

We will be introducing a new, and dedicated page called Billing Preferences, under Settings > Subscriptions. This page will consist of settings that apply only to invoices generated for subscriptions. Meanwhile, general invoice settings will continue to remain under Settings > Sales > Invoices.

Settings that will be housed under Billing Preferences:
  • Billing Date (consisting of Anniversary Billing and Calendar Billing)
  • Consolidated Billing
  • Metered Billing
  • Usage Billing
  • Unbilled Charges
  • Credit Notes
  • Excess Payments
  • Partial Payments

InfoNote: This won't affect the existing preferences of your organizations. All existing preferences will be migrated just as they were.

When This Will Go Live

These changes will be live for all Zoho Billing organizations from 2 July 2025. You’ll also see a guided experience in the web app to keep you and your team informed.
