Upgrade to TLS 1.2 for a secured Zoho Sheet usage.

Hello everyone!

Keeping your data secure has always been our top priority, and with this update Zoho Sheet takes securing your data even further.

Complying with updated PCI standards, we're terminating support for TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 starting on October 31, 2018. After this date, users must update their processing solutions to TLS 1.2 to continue using Zoho Sheet without any interruption.

What is TLS?

Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a security protocol that ensures a safe transfer of data between two communicating systems via a network by encrypting the channel between the two systems. TLS 1.2 is the latest version of this security protocol.

Why is it important?

Researchers have published several vulnerabilities in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) that may allow attackers to extract data from secured connections. The PCI Security Standards Council has released TLS 1.2 to overcome several vulnerabilities in SSL and early TLS versions.
