URL in Button or Image as a merged Field

Hi There,

We are trying to use a merge field to sit behind either an image and button. It looks like that it is not possible.

Does anyone have any ideas on a work around.

We are trying to have the Add to Apple Wallet & Add to Google Wallet become a link to their member pass. The URL to this member pass is a field in the CRM profile.
