user guide

I'm just feeling my way around this site, which looks very useful, but I'm not experienced in dtp and I'm still trying to work out how to set up and use style sheets and formatting and other functions which seem to cross over with them to some extent. Hate to admit to coming from the steam age but I like to have a printed guide I can read through before I start learning by experience. Is there somewhere I can find one to download?
