Validation rule overlapping client script

Hello,

I have a validation rule that is overriding my client script. When the client script rule is met but not saved, a block occurs due to the validation rule. Is it possible for the client script to override the validation rule in some way?

To be more specific, if I save the file and try to complete the sale, the validation rule works normally. However, when I try to do this in edit mode, the validation rule blocks the action.

I believe this happens because the information is not officially recorded in the system.
