Hi I use Zoho CRM to hold customer details. I sync the data with Zoho Books for billing purposes. In Zoho CRM, I created custom fields to store their hosting details: - server location - domain name - website system and version number -etc The problem is that a growing number of my clients have more than one website. At the moment I am adding each Zoho CRM account and contact multiple times so that I can store the details for each website. This is REALLY inefficient and clumsy. I therefore need to normalise the data. I was thinking of doing the following: A single Account in ZCRM Contacts linked to the Account in ZCRM A separate database in Zoho Creator - foreign key link from ZCreator to Account in ZCRM - fields for the website hosting details The relation between ZCRM and ZCreator records would be one-to-many. I know that you can embed a Zoho Creator database in ZCRM Enterprise. See https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/miscellaneous/link-zoho-creator-app.html My problem is that I cannot afford the ZCRM upgrade. I don't mind having to go to Zoho Creator manually to see the data. What I do want is that new customers in ZOHO CRM automatically have a new record in Creator, waiting for me to fill in the hosting details. Likewise, when I delete a customer in ZCRM, the hosting records in Creator must also be deleted. This is just my idea. If you have a better solution, feel free to pitch it instead. Thanks Brendon
