For this joyous holiday season, we are back with a bunch of product updates to make your day merrier! Let's take a few minutes to check out what's new in Zoho Inventory.
Zoho Inventory - Zoho Sign Integration
Add a layer of authenticity to your invoices by embedding your digital signature. This will prevent users from making unauthorized changes to a document.
Zoho Sign makes the process of digitally signing documents as simple as it can get. Here’s what the integration with Zoho Inventory can do:
- You and your users can sign invoices digitally before sending them to your customers.
- You can restrict invoices from being sent to your customers unless they have been signed.
The e-signature can be drawn or uploaded from your device.
Note: This integration is available for all Zoho Inventory editions except the Indian edition.

Approve inventory adjustments
You can now set up an approval process for quantity adjustments created in Zoho Inventory. When the adjustment has been verified by all assigned approvers, it will reflect in the stock amount. This ensures that no unwarranted or erroneous changes are made to your stock count.
To enable Inventory Adjustment Approval:
Go to Settings > Integrations > Approval > Inventory Approval > Enable Inventory Approval.
Schedule invoice emails
With so much going on in your business, it's easy to forget the little things. For that reason, we've added an option to schedule invoice emails to your customer in advance. All you need to do is set a date, and Zoho Inventory will email invoices to the intended recipients automatically.
Prerequisite:
- If you have set up sales approval or integrated with Zoho Sign, the invoice has to be Approved or Signed in order to be scheduled.
- If no workflow or integration has been set up, the invoice can be scheduled as a Draft.
To do so:
Go to Invoices module > Open an invoice > Click the Clock icon on the menu bar.
Role-based permissions for price lists
Price list is a convenient way to customize the rate of your items in Zoho Inventory. However, you may not want everyone to be able to set these rates. We have now introduced role-based permissions for the price lists module. By default, users with access to the Items module will also have access to the Price Lists module. You can change it under settings.
To do so:
Go to Settings > Users & Roles > Roles > Select or create a new role > Go to Items > Disable/Enable the options next to Price List.
Let us know your thoughts on these features, and happy holidays!
Cheers,
Lakshmi
