As the new year dawns upon us, we at Zoho Inventory are back with a fresh set of enhancements and features. We can't wait for you to use them and let us know your thoughts. Let’s take a look at what’s new this February in Zoho Inventory.
Assign default purchase tax to items (Global edition)
We've now added an option to assign default purchase tax rates for items in the items creation/edit page. When you set a tax rate for an item, it'll be applied automatically when a purchase transaction is created with that item.
To add a tax rate to an item: Go to the Items module > In the item creation/edit page, add a tax rate under Purchase Information.
Advance Search for Sales Return
You can now perform an advanced search in the Sales Return module. This search option lets you find information such as the item name, status, etc., that you’re looking for quickly and efficiently inside the Sales Return module.
To perform an advanced search: Go to the Sales Return module > In the search bar, click the dropdown and select Advanced Search.
Print/Download shipment labels in bulk
We have provided the option to download/print shipping labels in bulk (up to 50). The shipping labels in the PDF format will be merged into a single PDF and can be either downloaded or printed. The shipping labels in the PNG format will be downloaded as a ZIP file.
To print/download shipment labels in bulk: Go to the Packages module > Select the packages which you need and click the Print or PDF icon.
Added multiple options to filter packages
Zoho Inventory now lets you filter packages based on multiple options like Shipped, Not Shipped, or Delivered. You can further filter Shipped, and Delivered packages based on whether it is Manually shipped, Carrier shipped or Amazon FBA shipped.
To filter based on status: Go to the Packages modules > Select the View and Type in the Filter By section.
View a summary of online orders
Zoho Inventory will show you a summary of all the online orders you have received in the current billing cycle.
Display credit only quantity for an item
Zoho Inventory now displays the credit-only quantity of items when you create a receive for the sales return.
Do give these features a try and let us know your feedback in the comments below. If you have any queries, write to us at support@zoho-inventory.com. We’re here to help.
Sincerely,
