What's New in Zoho Invoice - December 2022

Hello everyone!

This month, we bring you feature enhancements and some interesting iOS app updates. Here's what's new in December:

Customize Reports with Multiple Parameters

Customize reports based on multiple parameters by adding up to 3 parameters in one go in the Group By field. Previously, it was only possible to group reports based on one parameter at a time. You can also choose to display the total amount above or below each group.

For now, this feature is available in the Receivable Summary and Receivable Details reports.

Display Retainer Tax Summary in Invoice PDFs

You now have the option of including retainer tax information in invoice PDFs. This way, you can display the total retainer tax applied on your invoices to your customers who requested it and track the retainer tax applied on your transactions. The retainer tax summary consists of tax details, taxable amount, tax amount, total amount, and retainer tax amount.

To do this, go to Settings > Templates. While editing an invoice template, click the Customize the tax summary section. You can then mark or unmark the Show Retainer Tax Summary checkbox.

iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 Updates

As always, we didn't skip a beat with implementing the latest iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 features to elevate your mobile invoicing experience.

Live Text: You can now copy and paste information from attached receipts to create expense records even faster.
Lock Screen Widgets: Jump directly into creating an invoice right from your lock screen with the help of lock screen widgets. You can also create timesheets, log project hours and track mileage expenses.
Dynamic Island: Take a quick look at the Dynamic Island to get speedy updates on your live project hours or distance covered. This feature will be available soon.

Head over to the App Store and update your device to the latest version to try these features.
