Why do you treat uploaded Word docs differently to Zoho Writer documents & bug in website layout
When you click on a text document in Zoho Docs it opens in a
Zoho Docs tab and you have 2 options:
When you click on "Edit" and the document is a native Zoho Writer document, Zoho Writer is opened in a new browser tab.
But if the document is an uploaded Word document and you click Edit, it will stay in the same Zoho Docs tab.
As a consequence, you have much less screen space when editing a Word document as compared to editing a native Zoho writer document. I would prefer that a Word doc opens in a browser tab as well.
If a Word doc was opened, you do not gain any additional screen space by clicking on![]()
, because there is a bug in the layout of the website: The whole page moves up (covering the Zoho Docs logo) but also the lower page margin moves up as shown in the screen shot:
