Workdrive Truesynce Update Notification Stops Files Syncing

We noticed that one of the team's files they created over the last couple of days were not visible to other team members when they shared them in the correct folder. She was also unable to see files they shared into the team folder.
After looking into it the issue is that when the Truesync Application picked up that an update is ready the notification prevents the current version of Trusync from syncing files despite the fact that the workdrive folder is available in explorer.
It has taken me almost 4 hours to work out the problem - once I clicked the Truesync icon on the taskbar and then clear the update notification (the file is ready to download and install) the current version of truesync started to sync the files again.
Can I suggest you change the way this works and instead continue to allow syncing to work even if there is an upgrade notification?
