Zoho Creator Calendar - Sorting Events

Hi,

I have a calendar view to hold the schedule for a group of engineers. I have created a formula field to show the combination of fields I want visible as the title of the event, but I need to be able to sort the list by something other than the event title (In this case by the category of the engineer).

I have tried creating a Sorting Reference linked to the engineer, that pulls through onto the form. But the only way to sort by this is have it as the first part of the formula string. Even then it doesnt sort correctly as it treats the number like a string and therefore sorts 1, 10, 11, 12....2, 20, 21, 22 etc.

Is there a way to sort events in a single day by any other way than the display field, even if it is a work around.
