Hello everyone,

I’m happy to announce that Zoho Creator is hosting a new Community Webinar Series starting this October. This series is a learning initiative aimed at our developer community, where every session will take spotlight use cases focused on select features and explore the capabilities of the product. Using a workshop - style approach, developers with varying skill sets can gain an in-depth understanding of these features and find innovative solutions that utilize the product to it's maximum potential.

We are starting with a series of four webinars scheduled across November and December conducted in two time zones. Please go through details below.

Build new UI features and extend your application with JS widgets [Completed]

 Date: 14th October, 2020 (Wednesday)

JavaScript Widgets are a great way to bring more flexibility, control and customization to your Creator applications. This webinar will take you through some unique use cases for JS widgets, explore their capabilities and help you understand how they can add to your application’s scope and experience.

You'll learn how to :
  • Construct a JS widget in Creator
  • Extend your application - sample use case demo
  • Build interactive UI components such as image slider, and enhanced form UIs

Integrating Zoho Creator and Zoho People [Completed]

Creator allows you to build custom applications to suit unique protocols and assessments, while having direct access to your employee data in Zoho People, so all your processes can be context aware. This webinar will take you through the process of integrating Zoho Creator and Zoho People.

Working with Zoho Creator’s v2 API: Examples and Best Practices

Developer APIs are a core pillar of Creator’s extendability. They allow third-party applications to exchange data with Creator enabling a holistic and unified approach to decision making. Creator’s v2 API, an improvement upon v1, employs OAuth-based authentication for a more secure, reliable and efficient experience. 

In this webinar we’ll walk you through:
  • The benefits of OAuth based authentication 
  • The structure of the v2 API
  • Constructing an API call with v2 API in a third-party application
  • Using v2 Deluge tasks in other Zoho products
  • Best Practices for migration
