Zoho Inventory Community Digest February 2021 - a monthly rundown
Hello all!
Hope you are all doing well as we get close to finishing the first quarter of 2021. This month, we have some cool feature updates and an amazing webinar to help you learn more about using artificial intelligence for managing transactions.
1. Feature spotlight
Our feature of the month is our Items module, so let's take some time to understand it in more depth. We've seen a lot of our users experimenting with the different inventory tracking functionalities that this module offers. This video will give you a quick walkthrough of the options available in our Items module for tracking the products you sell and managing your inventory better.
2. Expert talks
Register for our free webinar on March 10, 2021 where we'll be joined by experts from the Sensiple Inc. team. In this webinar, we'll talk about using tools like AI and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to easily manage your transactions and meet both your organizational needs and industry demands.
Indian users can now collect taxes (TCS) on their sales transactions with customers who were invoiced for more than 50 Lakhs during the financial year. Users will receive a pop-up in their system while creating these invoices where they can add TCS tax.
Price List level discounts can now be managed in Zoho Inventory. This will help you assign temporary or permanent discounts to your Price Lists, allowing you to set custom prices at the item and customer level.
The default customer type option in the customer or vendor settings module now allows you to select if your customer is a 'Business' or 'Individual.'
You now have a unique Developer Space in the Zoho Inventory app under the settings option where you can create custom connections with third-party services.
The Purchase Order and Bill modules can now help you set discounts at the line item level. This way, you can associate individual discounts with different items during any purchase transaction.
4. Resource Center
Learn from our very own Mira S Natarajan about how ecommerce and online marketplace sellers can prepare for Brexit. In her article, she outlines some of the consequences sellers will face due to Brexit along with some of the new customs rules that they'll have to follow.
