Zoho Projects 3.0 - Bidding Adieu on Mar 15 2013.

The previous year on Nov 5th 2012, we opened up the New and Simpler Zoho Projects 4.0 Preview version to all our users. We received tons of bouquets and of course some useful suggestions too on the new Projects 4.0.

Over the last couple of months, we have been listening to all your suggestions in our tech support and have been constantly adding improvements to the new Projects 4.0 - like the new notification wizard to take control and customize your email notifications sent from Projects 4.0 and much more.

Our Old Projects 3.0 has definitely helped us to win customers like you. With your support we sincerely hope to reach our next level with the new Projects 4.0 and serve much better than before by offering better tools to help your business.

It's sad but the time has come to say Goodbye to our good old Projects 3.0 and say hello to the new and refreshing Projects 4.0. We are pretty sure the New Projects 4.0 will step up your user experience to next level. So on this front we've planned to discontinue our OLD UI coming March 15th, 2013.

Zoho Projects now generates a unique number for each project, task, and issue added. The auto-generated ID is a combination of a prefix and a number which is assigned by Zoho Projects. Task Inline Editing Enhancement
Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
