Zoho Subscriptions

For a subscription, is there any way to push updates to a subscription form API as unbilled charges, but show immediate change on the invoice?

We often will have customers activate multiple devices per month, and invoicing each additional device separately leaves a very bad paper trail. Is there either a way to consolidate those invoices, or add the edits made via API to unbilled charges while keeping the edit immediate?
