Sift together the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter untilmix resembles bread crumbs rather than flour. Make a hole, pour in milk intocenter . Mix until liquid is completely mixed in, not until itresembles dough. Mix with be very crumbly. Pour onto a floured surface. Workjust until edges no longer look flaky. Indent tops with a thumb then coat witha thin layer of buttermilk on the top. Bake 425 for 12-14 minutes. Recipe canbe frozen as well.
