Export timesheet lists
It would be very nice if one could export the timesheet lists, e.g. as a csv-file. Then one could use the output as the basis for an invoice when man-hours are billed to a customer. And if one could specify filter and sort parameters, that would be great as well. demo

New users
I would love to see an admin be able to set up users and their passwords and possibly keep other information on these users such as past projects, notes and performances...this would help me as a project manager, obviously some of this information would not be available to that client

Archived projects count against total?
I just archived a project in my account to make room for an additional project but I cannot create a new one now. Does this mean that archived projects count against our "total projects allowed" for the plan we've signed up for? I can't find a way to delete a project, so I was hoping that by archiving one that it would allow me to create a new one... If old projects accumulate against my "total", this service is going to get expensive pretty quick! :)
Tasks...
It would be nice to be able to set the end-date instead of guessing ho many days it is until that day when the deadline is for a certain task. Because not only the Milestones but also the Tasks have deadlines. vde.jeroen

Exporting/Sharing Projects
Zoho noob here, kicking the tires. Is there any way to export a project into some useable format? Or say to provide a RSS feed of upcoming tasks? I'm using a wiki located elsewhere for a project and it would be nice to be able to have some integration of task management between that and the Project, e.g. I can share a Google calendar as a widget that is embedded in another site. And other than the forums are there developer docs? an API? Thanks.
Tasks (Priorities) and Milestones (Calendar)
My last request: From what I've seen until now, priorities of tasks seem to be invisible when I look at a tasks list. To me, that seems to defeat the purpose of priorities in the first place. Plus, unfortunately you (like way too many others) adopted the lame three-level (like A/B/C) priority scheme. I think that's inadequate. Palm, e.g. uses five levels, which is much more useful (you can fit that into a four-quadrant-approach). Other systems use even more, like A1-A9, B1-B9 etc. You should at least

Update details : 1. (Much asked for) Only active projects will be counted for billing. For example if a company is in the 'Standard Plan', it can create/manage 5 active projects but it can have any number of archived projects. 2. New Task List can now be added along with New Task and New Milestone. 3. Navigation in Forums. 4. Few bug fixes. Thanks, Aravind

When using the calendar tool to select a date, the calendar actually is BEHIND the TASK LIST and OWNER fields (see attached). It is possible to work around this issue, but it is pretty annoying. Thank you!

dependent tasks
Hello - my first day with zoho project and first time with any kind of PM software! Found the Gantt chart - liking that so far, but a few questions...... Is there a way to make one task or task list dependent on another task/task list; so could I say task B starts when Task A is completed for example? And if this is possible, can the links be visible on the Gantt chart? Also, can the name of the person who is responsible for a task be visible on the Gantt chart (not just when you hover over the bar).

Internal vs External
The current implementation of Internal/External is unworkable - we've tried to move to Zoho and have massive pressure to shift back to BaseCamp. Can someone tell me if the application of this feature will be fixed? Meaning - enable the ability to tag individual milestones, tasks, forum posts, etc as external but also see them as internal. It is UNWORKABLE to have to look at two lists to see everythign that is going on. As one client, we need this immediately or we're unfortunately done. Also, assuming
Meetings and tasks are not private
When you create meetings and tasks everyone registered to any project can see them. There is no privacy at all in the calendars employees can see what meetings have the managers and what tasks are due to them, they see who is the owner of the task that is not correct. Also in the dashboard of each project you have the meetings and tasks listed of every project so whats the point of registering users per project if they can see everything in the dashboard

Some cool features that many of you have been asking for are available now. Zoho Projects, like Zoho Writer and Zoho Planner, now offers different colored skins to choose from. Choose the one you like. Mac users rejoice. Zoho Projects now supports Safari! Opera too is now supported as Zoho Projects takes the tally of supported browsers to 4 (the other two being the obvious ones - Firefox & IE). Automatically Email New Forum Msgs
I'd like new Forum Messages (including Replies) to be automatically sent via email to all the Users, like it does with the competing BaseCamp product. In BaseCamp's system, the emails arrive with a prepended line saying something to the effect of "Do Not Reply To This Email; Log In to (the ZoHo) to post a reply to this message in the forum". For each Forum Message that will be automatically emailed, you select whether every User in the Project gets the email, or just a few select Users who you know
Editing a meeting and saving it
Case: I created a meeting. The time was changed and I went back into it to change the time. I was allowed to pick another time, but I have not way of saving the update. How can I save the update?
Export function
I am a prospective user of Zoho Projects, and it strikes me that an export function is essential for my purposes. That is, I want to be able to download meeting notes, progress charts, calendars and so on so that I can adapt them in my local word processor and archive them in a "neutral" format (RTF or MS Word doc). I suspect many users would be loath to generate a great deal of material that resides permanently and exclusively in an online service. Thanks. UCLA researcher, Los Angeles CA
Integration
I know it is coming and I sent it in the feedback already, but when will all the Zoho products be single sign-on and integration between the content creators and project. It seems some of the functions overlap between virtual office and project. I cannot wait for this to get sorted out and am more than willing to pay for this great service. PS, you should fix your spellcheck so it doesn't try to change Zoho to soho :)
Login Troubles ?
The whole Zoho concept / project is a wonderful idea that I can see a lot of potential with. But, I continue to have troubles trying to login. The Word Processor / Spreadsheet / Planner (for the most part) always log me in, but nothing else such as forums and Virtual Office. Is there anything I can do, or, is it just part of the bugs typical in any ambitious start up program ? Thanks
Meetings cannot be updated or closed
Please see the attached screen. Once created, there is no way to add another attendee or close the opened meeting.
Can't log into Zoho Project with IE 6; can with Firefox\SeaM
Hi, When I try to log into my zoho project page with IE 6.0, it allows me to enter ID & password but then returns to a blank login page without any errors. If I use a bad ID or password it returns a unknown user or bad password error - so it is checking the login credentials. With "good" credentials it returns to the login page without errors. This is happening now (10/17/06) on two computers with IE 6.0. When I use SeaMonkey (based on Firefox) I am able to login without any problems. Any ideas on

Unable to add 'Available Projects' to 'Working Projects' for a client user. On clicking Update noting happens (the image keeps revolving). Tried adding clients using bot Firefox and IE 6. Also when I create a new client user, a password is not generated for the client.

I am very excited by what I see with Zoho Projects and see this as a very valuable tool for our small consulting practice. Because we have consultants all over the country, having the ability to collaborate online is paramount to creating synergy between our consultants. One item I am struggling with is the fact that the "Loading..." progress window never goes away. It updates as I change the tab I want to look at, i.e. "Loading General Settings..." changes to "Loading Company Profile Settings..."
Enhance Task Lists
It would be very helpful if there was a field to store a brief description of a task to add clarity to different tasks that a user would like to record time for. Also, in the Task List drop down there is a "General" task list under Internal and one under "External", is there some way of adding new task lists under the General or External groups. For example, I would like to have a task list for internal administrative tasks and another for training tasks, etc.
