How to manage a project that never ends
Hello, I'm new, what is the best way to manage a project that never ends? In other words, a project with a continuos adding of milestones, without an end-date of the project. Does the lacking of a project end-date impact diagrams or other functionalities? Thank you very muchIs it possible to import project workflows from Jira?
We had some customized project workflows in Jira which we would like to use in Zoho Projects. Is it possible to integrate them into Zoho Projects? I know that Projects doesn't have the exact same workflow logic on the GUI but would it be possible to integrate them via some scripts? Several different Zoho Documents state that project tasks can be synced with Google tasks, and it's advertised as a feature on your website here. We have Zoho Projects fully integrated with G Suite, but none of these Google tasks sync options show up. Nor do they show up for Zoho CRM which also says it has sync with Google tasks. Would someone from Zoho please advise is this feature still exists? I have also submitted a ticket on this issue. Thank YouBatch change dates
It would be very helpful to be able to batch change the dates for multiple tasks either within a project or in My Tasks. At the moment when a load of tasks due for the same day are set it takes time to go through and date set each one individually.Expand/Collapse My Tasks list single button

Hi, When I attempt to create a new project, the function to do so is ghosted and not clickable. Another user on the account had created a project. There was also a demo Project created by Zoho. After looking through some posts in here I found we can only have 1 project for the trial plan. So I deleted both projects but am still not able to create a new one. My user level is set to Admin. I'm using Projects for real estate listings and transactions I have a team of agents who each has their own listings. The task template is invaluable because each listing has such similar tasks, documents, etc. My agents only need to collaborate with me on each project. Not a huge team. And while they all have similar tasks, each agent handles their projects with a slightly different work flow than the other agents. Because of the difference in their work flows it made sense to me to to create aModule geared more toward solopreneurs
I'd love to see Zoho roll out a projects module that's more for solopreneurs. I'm using Zoho Books now and would love to be able to move more of my applications under the Zoho umbrella. Unfortunately, Zoho CRM and Projects is just too unwieldy for me as a solopreneur. I'd love to see Zoho have something more like Dubsado or 17Hats. A key thing would be the ability to send emails / monitor email from within the app itself (as opposed to having to switch out to CRM). Hi there, We are in the phase of transitioning from a proprietorship entity to a Private Limited entity. In this transition, we will need to keep both the accounts live since it is the middle of the financial year. However, the clients are not changing. we use Zoho projects, where we add personal information of clients in the tasks, our GPO tells us that we can not add this information because the server is outside the EU and we would need permission. this is so? the only way to continue with Zoho projects would be to migrate it to the EU, but from Zoho there is no way to do it without losing information.QoL Suggestion: Create Better Design Distinction Between Tasks and Sub Tasks in Task Lists
Quality of Life Suggestion Task lists can get VERY long, full of tasks and their subsequent subtask. Visually, I think it would be helpful to have a more distinct design of parent task rows (font size, style, color and/or rest-state row background colors) to help further distinguish them from their sub-tasks. Workload Scheme: allows admin user to create schemes and add them later to the users (employees). For example part time scheme, full time scheme. Main reason being; business hours do not necessarily reflect the workload for a particular person, i.e. my company can be open 24/7 it doesn't mean my employees work that amount of time. When looking at the resource allocation chart: Appears that the work hours on some tasks a) are not included on the labels and b) not counted towards the total hours for the day. Hi there, If I set a budget of e.g. 10 hours to work on a task, then register 2 hours of work to a sub-task, those 2 hours will appear as actual hours on the sub-task, but will not be added to the hours worked on the parent task. Since sub-tasks are by definition part of the parent task, I would consider this a bug, which limit the utility of what is otherwise an excellent feature. Can I compare in Zoho Projects the original timeline projection with the actual timeline of the project in the Gannt Chart? Hello, My organization has just upgraded from Premium to Enterprise in order to get the cross-project reporting and gantt charts. When I view the enterprise chronology or milestone gantt, it seems that the default sorting is by milestone end date. Is there a way to sort these reports by project name, milestone start date, or by other fields in the chart? Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
