Can I change the format of the Case Number?

            No, you cannot change the format of the Case Number. However, you can hide the Case Number field and create a custom field as per your requirements.

            To hide fields

            1. Log in to Zoho CRM with Administrator's privilege.
            2. Go to Setup > Case Settings > Edit Page Layout.
            3. In the Page Layout page, click the Hide "X" button next to the Field label.
            4. Click Save.

            To add custom fields

            1. Log in to Zoho CRM with Administrator's privilege.
            2. Go to Setup > Case Settings > Fields List.
            3. In the Case: List of Fields page, click New Custom Field.
            4. In the New Custom Field page, do the following:
              • In the Select Field Type section, select the field type.
              • In Provide Field Details section, enter the field related details.
            5. Click Save.
            Note: Use the Auto Number field type to generate numbers automatically.
