Organize your note cards better with tags in Notebook. Tag a note card by just adding a hashtag before any word. Add tags to your note cards when typing through a note card just to organize and categorize them easily. Categorize your note cards by place, topic, and project or any other way you see fit to be more organized. You can also organize your notes by geo-tagging them with the location where you take it.
Before you begin
- You can associate a maximum of 100 tags per note card.
- You can create a maximum of 1,00,000 tags in Notebook
- Only special character supported is "_". Rest of special characters aren't supported for tag creation
Here's how you can use tags in Notebook
For Text and Checklist Card:
For iOS and Android
1. Open the note card and tap to edit it
2. Type # before the keyword and click + from the pop-up to associate the tag (You can associate individual tags to individual items in Checklist Card)
Alternatively, you can:
- Click # from the list of options and select any tag from your previous list of tags
- Click the three vertical dot icon and click Tags. You can add new tags, choose from the existing tags, or use any of the suggestions from Zia to associate a tag
For other platforms
1. Open the note card and tap to edit it
2. Click the three vertical dot icon
3. Choose Info from the list of options displayed
4. Add new tag, choose from the existing tag, or use any of the Zia suggestions for tags
For other types of note cards in all platforms
1. Open the note card and click on the three vertical dot icon
2. Click Info/Tags from the list of options displayed
3. Add new tags, choose from existing tags, or use any of the Zia suggestions for tags.
You can also search note cards based on the tags in the search option.
