Moderators initiate and set the tone of discussions, present ideas, encourage participants to speak, and regulate discussions to arrive at conclusions. In Zoho Meeting, the presenter of a meeting acts as the moderator. Moderator controls are features that help moderators conduct secure online meetings, move discussions in the right direction, minimize interruptions, and collaborate effectively to make decisions faster.
Lock meetings
Lock meetings to reduce interruptions during ongoing discussions.
- Start the meeting.
- Click Lock Meeting from the More option on the meeting toolbar.
Key points
- No one will be able to join a locked meeting even if they have the 'join' link.
- If someone tries to join a locked meeting, the presenter of the meeting will be notified. The presenter can decide whether or not to let the participant in.
- A locked meeting is similar to a password-protected meeting.
- The presenter can unlock the meeting at any time if they want to let all participants in.
- Participants who try to join a locked meeting will be informed that the meeting is locked. They can either wait for the presenter to unlock the meeting or close the window.
- Presenters can let selected participants in and reject others.

Click the Microphone slash icon next to the participant's name in the meeting toolbar to Request to unmute.
You can also click the More icon in the participant's video feed and select Request to unmute.
How to unmute all participants:

2.Click Request all to unmute.
