Zoho Recruit | Office 365 Sync

Office 365 Sync for Zoho Recruit

Install the Zoho Recruit app for Microsoft Office 365 to seamlessly synchronize data between the two applications. This integration currently allows Calendar and Contacts synchronization.

To enable Office 365 calendar synchronization in Zoho Recruit  (Non-SSO users)

  1. Navigate to  Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft > Office 365. Click  Manage.


  2. In the Calendar section, click Enable.
  3. In the intermediate Microsoft accounts page, Sign in with your Microsoft credentials.

  4. Calendar synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be enabled. 
  5. You will see a Zoho Recruit Calendar in your Office 365 account. Events and interviews that you create in either application will now synchronize with each other. Note that the synchronized events and interviews will be seen in the Zoho Recruit calendar and not the other calendars.

    Single Sign-on users (SSO) can enable this synchronization by simply clicking on the enable button in the Calendar section.

Note
  1. Only events owned by the user (My Events) will sync with Office 365.
  2. As part of initial synchronization, a maximum of 5000 events from Zoho Recruit calendar will be synchronized with Office 365.
  3. Events scheduled for a future date will be synced first followed by events that were recently closed.
  4. Events that were imported into Recruit will not be synchronized with Office 365. However, events that were created individually in Zoho Recruit or updated in bulk (Mass update) will sync with Office 365.

To enable Zoho Recruit Contacts synchronization with Office 365  (Non-SSO users)

  1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft > Office 365. Click Manage.
  2. Under the Contacts section, click Enable.
  3. In the intermediate Microsoft accounts page, Sign in with your Microsoft credentials.
  4. In the Configuration popup, map the Microsoft fields with that of Zoho Recruit. A default mapping is already available - you may edit it if required.

    Note that the Microsoft Contact fields unsupported via APIs will not be available for mapping in this Configuration pop up.
  5. Contacts synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be enabled. You will see a Zoho Recruit Contacts folder in your Office 365 account.
  6. Contacts that you create in either application will now synchronize with each other. Note that the synchronized contacts will be seen in the Zoho Recruit Contacts and not the other contacts. 

InfoSingle Sign-on users (SSO) can enable this synchronization by simply clicking on the enable button in the Contacts section.


Note
  1. Only contacts owned by the user (My Contacts) will sync with Office 365.
  2. As part of initial synchronization, a maximum of 10000 contacts from Zoho Recruit Contacts will be synchronized with Office 365.
  3. Contacts that were generated via data migration and import will not be synchronized with Office 365. However, contacts that were created individually in Zoho Recruit or updated in bulk (Mass update) will sync with Office 365. 

To disable the Office 365 Calendar/ Contact synchronization 

  1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Microsoft > Office 365.
  2. In the  Calendar/ Contact section, click  Disable.

  3. Calendar/ Contact synchronization between Office 365 and Zoho Recruit will now be disabled.
  4. Alternatively, you can also disable the synchronization by deleting the Zoho Recruit Calendar/ Contacts folder in your Office 365 account.
Note

When you disable the synchronization or delete the Zoho Recruit calendar/ contacts folder from Office 365, the events/ contacts synchronized will be deleted from Office 365. The events/ contacts will however remain intact in Zoho Recruit.
