Post-purchase period is an important point in a customer's journey. Sending purchase follow-up emails helps you generate stronger customer loyalty, more repeat purchases, and above all it helps your customers to stay connected to your brand. Follow-up emails can also be used for similar product recommendations. That "You may also like" email is a nice gesture that will make your customers feel valued and connected to your brand.
Note : Purchase follow-up emails can be setup for stores only integrated with Shopify, WooCommerce and Zoho Commerce.
This guide discusses about the steps involved in creating an automated purchase follow-up email in Zoho Campaigns.
- From the navigation toolbar, select Ecommerce.
- Select your integrated store for which you want to create the email series.

- Click Automated emails.

- In the Purchase follow-up section, click Create Now.

- Click Use Template to use the purchase follow-up pre-designed workflow template.

- Or click Custom Workflow to create a workflow of your choice.

- Drag and drop the Purchase follow-up trigger onto the canvas and click Select Store in the trigger.

- Select the store for which you want to configure the trigger and click Done.

- Choose a process based on your requirements from the left section, drag and drop it in to the canvas below the trigger or another process and configure it.

- Drag and drop the Send Email component onto the canvas and click Create Message to create a purchase follow-up email.

- Give a subject line, add sender details and click Create Content.

- Select the type of email template you want to choose.
- Edit the template and click Proceed.

- On the top-left corner of the pop-up, click the Edit icon to edit the message name for your reference, if required and click Take me to my canvas on the top-right.

- Configure the other process and action components you added to your workflow. Remember to connect all the components once you've set up the workflow.
- Click Activate at the top-right corner to initiate contacts to start entering the workflow.
