Once you've decided to schedule your content on a date and time of your choice, you also have the option to schedule the post to be repeated multiple times across social channels. This feature is available on all social channels. You can set posts on repeat to remind your audience about upcoming events, or important updates that they might otherwise miss. When you're scheduling posts on a date and time of your choice, you have the option to repeat the post once every week, or month.
Scheduling posts to be repeated weekly
Zoho Social's Repeat Post feature lets you repeat posts once every week. Suppose you run a weekly webinar session every Wednesday, you would want to repeat the post once every week to remind your audience about the event until a particular date.
Once you've selected the day on which you want your content to be repeated, you will need to set a date until which you want your content to repeat.
Here's how you can repeat posts on a weekly basis:
- Once you've decided the scheduled date and time of your social media post, check the Repeat this Post box from your Publishing window.
- The option to repeat your posts on a weekly basis will be selected for you by default.
- Select a day to repeat your post once every week.
- Choose a date from the the Repeat Until box to repeat your post weekly until a particular date.
Repeating posts on a monthly basis
If you're repeating the post on a monthly basis, you can specify a date of every month for the post to be automatically repeated until an end date within the next 6 months.
For instance, if you'd like to publish an announcement, or an event that's happening once in every month, you can select a particular date in a month for your post to be repeated automatically for the next six months.
Now, let's say you want to repeat your post on day "31" of every month. Then, you can select the following one of the two options that are available from the drop down box: Last day of every month, or Day 31 Whenever available.
If you've selected the option to schedule the content on the last day of every month, your post will be published on the last day of every month till a the specified date.
You can also choose to schedule your post on day 31 of every month. If you make this selection, your posts will be repeated on the 31st day of every month that has 31 days. In this case, the months with less than 31 days will be skipped.
