ShowTime's Desktop app for Viewers

If your viewers are on Safari, Edge, or any other browsers which do not support ShowTime, they can download Zoho ShowTime's desktop app to access your live training session.

To download ShowTime's desktop app

1. Open the unsupported browser and enter the session URL you want to join.

2. Click Browser not supported to download the Showtime desktop app for viewers.

3. Once you download the app, do either of the following:

Click Copy link to redirect into your session page automatically, or
Click Join Session to paste your session join link and then access your training session.

To get the session join link in ShowTime

A session join link is the URL with which the viewers can access a training session in ShowTime. This link will be available within your registration confirmation mail sent by the trainer.

Screenshare your content with audio in ShowTime

The Windows Desktop application for ShowTime allows you to share your screen along with the audio of the the specific file that is being shared. For example, if you're screensharing a youtube video, ShowTime now allows you to share the video as well as the audio of the specific content that's being played. To share the audio when screenshare is being used -

1. Once the session is launched, click on Screenshare on the bottom pane and select the tab to be shared to your audience.

2. Click on the Allow system audio to be audible during screenshare checkbox to share the audio of your screen being shared.

Note: Please ensure that you do not stream your audio from the microphone and the audio from the screenshare at the same time. (That is, at any instant, kindly ensure either your microphone audio is switched ON or your screenshare audio is switched ON. Not both at the same time)

Issue in opening desktop app in Mac OS catalina 10.15

If you use Mac OS Catalina 10.15, you need to enable 'Open Anyway' under the 'Security and Privacy' preferences for the download to work. You might see this warning error when you try to open the app.
