Registrations

1. Can an attendee buy more than one ticket using their email address?  

Yes. The number of tickets an attendee can purchase depends on the minimum and maximum purchase limits configured for the ticket class.

2. Where can attendees view the tickets that they have bought?  

Participants can sign in to the event website and access their purchased tickets, registration details, and order information from their account.

3. Does Backstage charge me for each attendee registration?  

No. Zoho Backstage does not charge a commission on ticket sales. However, payment gateway providers may charge transaction processing fees based on their pricing policies.

4. Can I print attendee tickets from Zoho Backstage?

Yes. Organizers can print attendee tickets and badges from the registration and order management sections of the event in the Zoho Backstage Desktop app.

5. Which payment gateways are supported in Backstage?

Zoho Backstage supports multiple payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Authorize.Net, PayTabs, Forte, 2Checkout, M-PESA, and other supported regional payment providers. Available gateways may vary by data center and region.

6. Will Backstage handle refunds?

Yes. Refunds for online transactions can be initiated from Zoho Backstage and are processed through the payment gateway used for the original purchase. Offline refunds must be handled manually by the organizer.

7. How long will it take for the refund to be processed?

Refund processing times depend on the payment gateway, payment method, and financial institution involved. Please refer to your payment provider’s refund policies for specific timelines.

8. Can I add tax to tickets?

Yes. Zoho Backstage allows you to configure taxes for ticket sales and apply them to registrations based on your event’s tax settings.

9. Can I restrict a certain session based on ticket classes?

Yes. You can configure session accessibility and restrict specific sessions to selected ticket classes. Only attendees holding eligible tickets will be able to access those sessions.

10. Is there a way to collect ticket registrations for approval before granting attendees tickets to my event?

Yes. You can enable registration approval workflows and review registrations before granting access to your event. Pending registrations can be approved or rejected by event organizers.
