2 Factor Authentication Not Logging in correctly

I'm using 2 factor authentication (2FA) via Google Authenticator on my mailbox. However, I've noticed a bug which seems to fail to log in when I enter the code. Here's what happens:

  1. I enter my email and password.
  2. I'm prompted for my Google Auth code, so I enter it from my phone.
  3. The screen then takes the code, doesn't present any kind of error like "incorrect code", but the 2FA screen continues to appear.
  4. If I enter another code, the same thing happens.
  5. I hit F5 on the keyboard to refresh the page, then without asking me for another code, I get my mailbox.
I assume it's some kind of issue with the API where it accepts the code, but doesn't log you in. I'm using Chrome on Windows 10, however, this also happens on Chrome on my Chromebook and my windows 7 work laptop.

The same thing also happens on Firefox. This is VERY annoying bug. I'm not sure if it's been reported before, but I couldn't find anything in the forums.
