Add Pause / Resume Option to Zoho Quartz Recordings
Hi Zoho Team,
We would like to request an enhancement to Zoho Quartz recordings: the ability to pause and resume an ongoing recording.
Current Limitation:
At the moment, when recording an issue with Zoho Quartz, the recording continues even when we are simply waiting for something to happen (background process, scheduled action, etc.). During these waiting periods, Quartz records unnecessary idle time.
As a result:
- Recordings become longer than needed
- We are forced to stop the recording and create multiple separate videos instead of one clear, continuous recording
- Reviewing these recordings becomes more time-consuming for both users and Zoho Support
Requested Enhancement:
- A Pause button to temporarily stop the recording
- A Resume button to continue recording when the relevant action starts again
Benefits:
- Shorter, more focused recordings
- Better clarity for support teams reviewing issues
- Improved user experience when reporting complex or time-dependent issues
- Reduced need to submit multiple recordings for a single issue
This small enhancement would significantly improve the usability and efficiency of Zoho Quartz.
