Dear Zoho Flow Team,
Greetings,
We’ve been working extensively with Zoho Flow and appreciate the flexibility it offers for automation across our tools.
We’d like to request a feature enhancement specifically related to Webhook triggers:
Currently, Zoho Flow allows adding filters at the trigger level when using standard app-based triggers. This helps ensure that flows only run when necessary and prevents unnecessary consumption of Flow operations.
However, when using Webhook as the trigger, there is no option to apply a filter before the flow is triggered. This means that every webhook call consumes a Flow operation, even if it is subsequently filtered out using a Decision block.
This leads to unnecessary usage of Flow credits and operational costs, especially when we receive high-volume webhook events but only a subset is relevant.
We request the ability to define pre-trigger filters (similar to standard app triggers) for Webhook triggers. This would allow Zoho Flow to:
Evaluate incoming webhook data before the flow starts.
Avoid triggering the flow entirely (and consuming an operation) if conditions are not met.
More efficient credit usage.
Better control over event processing.
Consistency across all trigger types in Zoho Flow.
We believe this improvement would make Zoho Flow even more robust and cost-efficient for users relying on webhook integrations.
Thank you for considering this enhancement. We look forward to your feedback and hope to see this feature added in a future update.
Best regards,
Ram Freedman
