Any chance of a Zoho desktop client for writer?

Any chance of a Zoho desktop client for writer?

Zoho has my favorite documents interface (love tabs!). But I hate that I have to have an internet connection to use it. Why doesn't Zoho build a desktop client of its own so we can work offline and sync with our online work? 

I would definitely use it. 

I know about the Gears option, but I'd rather have an interface separate from my browser, plus who knows what the deal is with Gears anyway? 


I would love a desktop client for Zoho writer.
