Associating Contacts to clients

Hi ....... please could you let me know the following........ I have a 'client who has a number of People working for them that are listed in my Contacts I would like to associate a client with their contacts but the only option available would be to create a new contact, thereby duplicating records. is there any way the associated contacts can be looked up and picked from a pick list?
